Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State Athletics has officially sold out of single-game tickets for its next two football games: against Appalachian State on Sept. 27 and New Mexico on Oct. 11.

Fans seeking to buy tickets are encouraged to purchase exclusively from Ticketmaster, the department's approved ticket reseller, to ensure authenticity.

This extends Boise State's sellout streak to 11 consecutive games, the longest stretch since a 19-game sellout streak from 2006-09. Last year, the Broncos sold out all six regular season games on The Blue as well as the Mountain West Championship.

🔼 Mickey Makes it Happen. After Jaden Mickey entered the transfer portal during the 2024 season, a familiar name popped up on his phone as an incoming call.

📞 Spencer Danielson. 

Only one slight update was needed, though. Danielson’s contact information in Mickey’s phone still said “Boise State defensive coordinator” as opposed to “head coach.”

Between the fall of 2020 - what was supposed to be Mickey’s junior year of high school football - and the fall of 2024, plenty more changed for Mickey as well. He enrolled early at Notre Dame as a 17-year-old in January 2022, played in 28 career games for the Fighting Irish, and earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Mickey, a product of Eastvale, Calif., also suffered heartbreak during this time. His mom, Nilka, passed away on Dec. 28, 2023, after a four-year battle with cancer.

Holani scored his first career touchdown, recovering a kickoff in the end zone to help Seattle to a 31-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The running back also returned kicks for the first time in his career, compiling 133 yards on five returns. Lawrence started at defensive end and totaled three tackles and a quarterback hurry. Coach Moore and the Saints fell to the San Francisco 49ers, 26-21.
