🔼 Sweeping Spokane. Boise State women's golf walked away from the Kalispel Invitational with both trophies, winning the team title by 14 strokes at 3-under while Leia Chung claimed the individual crown at 4-under. Chung improved every round, closing with a 69 to win by two and set a school record with her fifth career tournament title. All five Broncos finished inside the top 20, with Teal Matsueda and Chloe Jang tying for fifth and Callia Ward posting a career-best 12th. It's the program's fifth tournament title in as many seasons under head coach Kailin Downs. Next up is the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Denver, Oct. 2-4.

🔼 Podium in Coeur d'Alene. Boise State men's golf took third out of 16 teams at the CDA National Reserve Invitational, going 12-3 against the field and knocking off Pac-12 foes Washington State and Oregon State along with in-state rival Idaho. Reese Knox led the Broncos with a 3-under 213, tying for sixth to match a personal best and notch his third career top-10 finish. Luke Cushman added a tie for 24th, and the team tied for the tournament lead with three eagles. It's Boise State's ninth top-three finish in a non-dual event under head coach David Trainor. The Broncos head to the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational on Sept. 29.

🔼 Ranked From the Jump. Boise State cross country & track & field opens the season with both squads inside the West Region Top 10, as the women check in at No. 5 and the men at No. 8 in the Week 1 rankings. The women also land at No. 30 nationally, while the men are picking up national votes.

🔼 Brand Boss Promoted. Boise State Athletics has promoted Matthew Sterling to Associate Athletic Director of Merchandise and Brand Operations. Sterling will oversee equipment and brand operations, including uniform and apparel strategy across all 18 sport programs, while adding merchandising oversight for the Boise State Sports & Entertainment Group. He joined the department in July 2023 and has guided the transition to Pac-12 branding along with the hand-painted football helmet campaigns. Sterling also serves as a secondary sport administrator for women's soccer.
