Boise State soccer hosts Northern Colorado this evening for senior night, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. MT at Boas Soccer Complex. The Broncos ride in on a five-match winning streak, the longest active run in the Pac-12 and fourth-longest in the country. They're also unbeaten in 12 straight at home, the longest such streak in program history, and lead the conference with six shutouts; a seventh would set the program record for a nonconference season.

🔼 1-0 in the Pac-12. Boise State volleyball picked up its first Pac-12 win last night, taking down Gonzaga 3-1 in front of another record Idaho crowd of 2,290 at ExtraMile Arena. Kendall Hastings owned the net with a career-high 10 blocks, becoming the first Bronco this season to hit double digits, as the team posted a season-high 14. Sydney Dreves put up a double-double with 14 kills and a season-best 22 digs, and Azlynn Tittmann added one of her own with 10 kills and 15 digs. Reese Weinert chipped in a career-high 11 kills. Boise State hosts San Diego State on Oct. 1 and Texas State on Oct. 3.

🔼 Champion vs. Champion. Boise State closes nonconference play Saturday at 1:30 p.m. MT against Western Michigan, one of only two games on the entire FBS schedule between 2025 conference champions. It's the first-ever meeting between the two Bronco programs and the opener of a home-and-home. Boise State rolls in on the strength of its ground game, rushing for 325-plus yards in back-to-back weeks and ranking 15th nationally, while the defense has held opponents to a 21.5 percent success rate on third and fourth downs. The Broncos also lead the nation in time of possession at 37:24 per game. The game airs on ESPN2.

🔼 B1 Feature: Representing Something Bigger Than Himself. Boise State EDGE Roman Caywood carries two names onto the field every time he plays. Hudson Whatcott, the son of his father's longtime friend and someone Caywood considers a little brother, was diagnosed with leukemia in March, and Caywood has been there ever since, through text chains, weekly video calls, visits, even a chemo appointment. When Hudson started losing his hair in April, Caywood and 12 other kids across three families shaved their heads together on a group call, and he's vowed to keep his buzzed until Hudson beats it. He writes "Huddy" on one wrist and "Nixon," Hudson's late brother, on the other. Hudson is responding well to treatment, and plans are in the works to get him to a game on The Blue.

🔼 2027 Slate Complete. Boise State football will open the 2027 season against Western Illinois on Aug. 28 at Albertsons Stadium, the first meeting ever between the two programs. The game rounds out the Broncos' nonconference schedule for that year, which also includes a road trip to App State on Sept. 4, a home date with South Florida on Sept. 11, and a visit to Marshall on Sept. 18.

🔼 Broncos Everywhere Sunday. All 10 former Boise State representatives take the field Sunday in Week Three, including a marquee matchup between Ashton Jeanty's Raiders and Kellen Moore's Saints, the only two Heisman Trophy finalists in program history, and both honored with orange hashmarks on the latest edition of The Blue. Jeanty is off to a flying start, the only player in the league with 150-plus rushing yards, 10-plus receptions, and multiple receiving touchdowns. Khalil Shakir added three catches and an onside kick recovery in Buffalo's win, while George Holani played a career-high 35 snaps for Seattle.

Kellen Moore led the Broncos to a record of ___ over his four-year starting career.
