Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State football utilized a complete team effort to dominate App State, 47-14, to win its third consecutive game of the season on Saturday.

The Broncos (3-1, 1-0 Mountain West) generated 473 yards of offense and held the Mountaineers (2-2, 0-1 SBC) to 184 yards on the night. Boise State forced four turnovers in the victory, including two interception returns for touchdowns, a feat the program hadn't accomplished since a Sept. 25, 2015, win over Virginia.

Quarterback Maddux Madsen was spectacular in the win, throwing for a career-high 321 yards and matching his career-high with four touchdown strikes. The redshirt junior completed 25 of his 37 attempts and threw to 10 different receivers for the second time this season.

🔼 Sunday, We Won Day. Teryn Newkirk's late goal lifted Boise State past Colorado State 1-0, Sunday in women's soccer action. The Broncos (3-3-5, 1-0-1 Mountain West) garnered the win in front of a season-high 1,348 fans. Boise State is 8-0-4 all-time against Colorado State. The Broncos are tied atop the Mountain West standings with four points after one weekend of conference play.

🔼 Hard Launch. The Boise State women's tennis team went 31-5 across all singles and doubles matches played at the eighth annual Barb Chandler Classic, a three-day event that wrapped up Sunday afternoon.

🔼 High Altitude Links. Taking place at Colorado National Golf Club in Boulder, the Boise State men's golf team will compete in the 15th annual Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational. Featuring 19 teams, the two-day event runs through tomorrow.
 
Making multiple appearances in the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, the Broncos won the tournament outright in 2021 by 10 strokes over San Francisco and Utah. In the team’s last outing at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational (Sept. 20-22), the Broncos collectively shot 857 (-7) and finished the tournament in a Tie for 6th Place. Cole Rueck captured his second-consecutive top-10 finish to start the season.

🔼 The Lion, the Witch, and the Bronco Football Wardrobe. The Boise State women's golf team will compete at the Molly Collegiate Invitational in Corvallis, Oregon, today and tomorrow. The team will play 36 holes today and 18 tomorrow.

The Broncos recently took 14th in a 20-team field at the Red Sky Fall Classic. In her first tournament of the 2025 fall season, Macee Greenwood set career bests for 54-hole total (219, +3) and personal finish (34th) while also tying a career best for an individual round (72, E).

🔼 Aces Were High. Boise State rallied from a set down to defeat the New Mexico Lobos 3-1 on the road in Albuquerque on Saturday afternoon. Six Broncos recorded between seven and 12 kills as the Blue and Orange relied on a balanced offense and solid defense to claim its third straight victory to improve to 10-3 overall and 2-0 in Mountain West play, while UNM moved to 8-5 and 0-2.

• Bre Mitchell recorded a team-high 15 digs to reach the 1,000 career digs milestone as a Bronco with 1,013…had a season-high three service aces, tying for the lead with Elle Cotton.

• Lilli Etter recorded the lone double-double on the day – eighth this season and 15th in career – on 22 assists and 13 digs.

• This is the first time since 2022 that the Broncos opened a season at 10-3.
