Good Morning, Boise State 9/3: Broncos Go the Extra Yard

Boise State Athletics delivered $1,000 gift cards to 11 teachers to fund classroom projects as part of the Extra Yard for Teachers initiative.

Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you likely know that many teachers have to tap into their own funds to provide supplies for their classrooms.

Boise State Athletics delivered $1,000 gift cards to 11 teachers inspiring students in the Boise, Kuna, and West Ada School Districts to fund classroom projects. The donation is part of the Extra Yard for Teachers initiative launched in 2015 through the College Football Playoff Foundation. Teachers were selected in partnership with district representatives and school principals. The teachers will also be recognized at the Broncos football home opener this Friday, Sept. 5, versus Eastern Washington.
