🔼 Match Night. Boise State volleyball welcomes No. 25 BYU to ExtraMile Arena on tonight at 6 p.m. MT, with the Broncos chasing the fourth win over an AVCA Top 25 opponent in program history. All three of those previous wins have come under head coach Shawn Garus, who picked up his 300th career victory at Boise State last week. The Blue and Orange are riding momentum from a 2-1 showing at the Boise State Classic, where Sydney Dreves was named tournament MVP with 40 kills, 22 digs, eight blocks, and five service aces. As the Broncos get ready to kick off on The Blue for the first time this season, Boise State’s Game Day Guide is back, and so are all of your favorites. The free Ford Fan Zone opens four hours before kickoff on Hall of Fame Plaza and DeChevrieux Field with yard games, photo stations, and a Kids Zone, plus a new custom "Sticker of the Game" while supplies last. The Bronco Walk steps off two hours and 45 minutes before kickoff, and the Blue Thunder Marching Band celebrates its 40th anniversary this season. Bronco Girl Cathy Jo Ayotte introduces a new horse, Pleaser, while Bourbon takes over as official Tee Dog.

🔼 Shining Debut. Trevor Garus made quite a first impression, tying for seventh at the Island Resort Classic in his Boise State men’s golf debut. The junior fired a 209 (-7) with rounds of 70-69-70, shooting par or better on 48 of 54 holes and setting a personal best for lowest 54-hole score. It also marked his first career top-10 finish. Chase Gorder was next for the Broncos, carding an even-par 216 to tie for 27th while joining just 13 golfers in the field to record an eagle. Boise State returns to action Sept. 21 at the CDA National Reserve Invitational in Coeur d'Alene.
