Good Morning, Bronco Nation! Boise State gymnastics will start off its 2025 campaign with a trip to Seattle for a quad meet against Washington, Stanford and No. 29 UC Davis.

The squad will look to build off momentum from last season, during which Boise State was crowned the inaugural 2024 Mountain West Champion. Key returners for the Broncos are two-time All-American Emily Lopez, along with All-MW selections Emma Loyim and Elaina McGovern.

🔼 Thank You, Simplot. The J.R. Simplot Company and the Simplot Company Foundation have made a combined donation to support the North End Zone Project. The multi-year partnership will include sponsorship entitlements to the field level club and a naming right for the student-athlete nutrition center.

🗣 "Simplot has played such an integral role in the growth of the Treasure Valley and continues to invest year after year in our community, state and across the globe.  We are grateful for their belief in EPIC and commitment to the North End Zone Project." - Jeramiah Dickey, AD

🔼 Put Me in, Coach. There’s no such thing as a benchwarmer on the Broncos WBB team!

🔼 A Sandy Spring Lies Ahead. The Boise State beach volleyball team, which toppled two ranked opponents last year, officially released its 2025 spring schedule, head coach Allison Voigt announced.

The Broncos' schedule consists of 29 regular-season duals, highlighted by a three-day home event, April 11-13. In its third season as members of the Southland Conference, Boise State will compete at the league's midseason tournament in March before competing for an automatic bid at the NCAA National Tournament at the SLC Championship in late April.

🔼 Tim’s New Title. Boise State offensive line coach Tim Keane has added the title of run game coordinator, head coach Spencer Danielson announced. This will be Keane's fifth season on the Bronco staff, a span that has featured 10 All-Mountain West honors for Boise State offensive linemen.

Before joining the Broncos, Keane coached at his alma mater, UC Davis, from 2016-19. The Aggies were Big Sky champions in 2018, qualifying for the FCS Playoffs.

🔼 Back to Blue. Former Boise State offensive coordinator Zak Hill will return to the Broncos as the pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach, head coach Spencer Danielson announced. Hill, who spent 2016-19 with the Blue and Orange, was most recently an offensive assistant with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks had the NFL's eighth-best passing offense in 2024, averaging 236.5 yards per game.

🤔 BLUE TURF TRIVIA

Athletes and Scholars. Today’s trivia question… Boise State student-athletes excelled in the classroom during the 2024 fall semester, recording the second-best single semester GPA in department history and combined to tie the highest all-department cumulative GPA. How many consecutive semesters has the department posted a term GPA of 3.0 or higher?

📱 FROM THE AD’S DESK

As we emerge from the holidays and move toward What's Next, I want to express my gratitude for your overwhelming support in finishing a[n] historic season for Boise State Athletics.

You exceeded every challenge we threw your way. You rallied behind Coach Danielson and this team for seven sellouts, including an all-time single-game attendance record against Washington State.

As you championed the best player in college football with homemade signs and impassioned "Heisman" chants and bolstered our defense with deafening applause, it was clear the energy at Albertsons Stadium was epic this season.
