🔼 Mountain West Showdown. Boise State (13-5) hits the road for its fifth true road game of the year and will take on New Mexico (14-4) tonight at The Pit. Airing live on FS1, tip off is slated for 9 p.m. MT.
In 26 all-time meetings between the two programs, the Broncos are 12-14. Boise State, however, has won three of the last four games dating back to Feb. 22, 2023.

While with the Broncos, Emma Loyim earned two individual Mountain West championships, as well as three all-conference selections. Meanwhile, Hannah made an impression at Iowa State, securing a spot on the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team.
Both sisters have excelled academically, earning a place on the WCGA Scholastic All-American Team each year since they began college gymnastics.

🔼 We Meet Again. The No. 27 Boise State gymnastics squad travels to Athens, Ga., to compete against No. 15 Georgia tonight at 5 p.m. MT.
Boise State is No. 27 in the RoadToNationals team all-around rankings, marking the first time this season that they have been within the top 30. The Broncos sit 21st and 22nd nationally in beam and floor, respectively. Emma Loyim holds the highest individual ranking of the team as she is tied-27th nationally on floor.

🔼 Star On the Rise. Boise State junior Sydney Groves added to her 2025 preseason honors, Thursday, earning the No. 15 spot on D1Softball's first basemen rankings. Earlier in the month, Groves was named to Softball America's preseason top 100 players.
In 2024, Groves batted .318 and set the Boise State sophomore record with 18 home runs. She added nine doubles and set a Boise State single-season record with 57 RBI. Groves was named to the 2024 NFCA All-Pacific Region First Team, the All-Mountain West Second Team and the Mountain West Championship all-tournament team.
🔼 Did Someone Say Road Trip?! Before beginning the dual season, Boise State men's tennis will travel to Champaign, Illinois, for the Fighting Illini Invite, featuring Columbia and Illinois, today through Sunday. This competition is a hidden dual format with singles and doubles competition only, with no team scoring. The season will begin next weekend when the Blue and Orange travel to the ITA Kickoff Weekend at the University of Virginia.

🔼 Right On Track. The Spokane Sports Showcase & Indoor Challenge marks the first indoor track and field season under head coach Pat McCurry. Boise State competed at the Spokane Indoor Challenge in 2024, setting 17-career bests and earning eight top-five finishes.
The Broncos set 28 personal bests in their season opener in early December, with junior Kaiya Robertson recording the third-fastest indoor mile time in school history while competing at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener.

Legen-Wait For It-Dary. Renowned Boise State Women's Basketball Head Coach Gordy Presnell has agreed to a contract extension through the 2028-29 season, athletic director Jeramiah Dickey announced, Thursday.
Presnell currently boasts the fifth-most wins among all active Division I women's basketball head coaches. The winningest coach in program history with a 368-247 (59.8%) mark, Presnell has qualified for the NCAA National Tournament on six occasions (2007, 2015, 2017-20), and has led the Broncos to four regular-season titles and six conference tournament titles.
