Boise State handed UNLV its first conference loss with their dominant 81-59 victory Tuesday night.

Good morning! Sparked by Tyson Degenhart's ninth career double-double, Boise State downed UNLV, 81-59, on Tuesday night inside ExtraMile Arena.
 
Boise State (12-4, 4-1 MW) handed UNLV (9-6, 3-1 MW) its first conference loss of the season and improved to 7-1 at home.
 
Four Broncos scored in double figures led by Degenhart who posted 21 points (8-11 FGs) and 11 rebounds. Alvaro Cardenas nearly notched a double-double of his own and registered 13 points and nine assists in 37 minutes of action.

🔼 No One-Trick Broncos. A program-record eight Boise State football players earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, the organization announced. Michael Callahan, Tyler Crowe, Maddux Madsen, Marco Notarainni, Chase Penry, Alexander Teubner, Luke Voorhees and Matt Wagner were the Broncos recognized for their athletic and academic achievements.

🔼 More Hoopla. Boise State women’s basketball will hit the road to take on Utah State tonight at 6 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network and 670 KBOI AM.

Boise State has won six consecutive matchups against Utah State. The two teams most recently met in the opening round of the 2024 MW Tournament, with the Blue and Orange racing past Utah State 85-49.

🔼 Moving Up. Matt Miller, who has been coaching Bronco wide receivers since he returned to the program in 2020, has been promoted to Co-Offensive Coordinator. In 2024, the Boise State offense ranked fifth in 3rd down conversion (49.5%), sixth in the nation in scoring (37.3 ppg), seventh in first downs (328), and eighth in total offense (466.0 ypg).
