🔼 Best In The Biz. Boise State's BLUE Turf was named Best Attraction for Sports Fans by an online public vote in USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice travel award contest, the publication announced today. The BLUE at Albertsons Stadium, on the campus of Boise State University, was also the 2023 winner. The BLUE Turf at Albertsons Stadium was one of 20 attractions nominated that bring sports fans closer to the action as they pay homage to the people, places, and moments that make sports so compelling.

🔼 Road Tests. The Boise State volleyball team is on the road this week traveling to Colorado State on Thursday and Wyoming on Saturday. Boise State is in a six-way tie for third in the conference standings, while CSU leads, and Wyoming is tied for ninth. The Broncos won a pair of home matches last week, defeating Air Force 3-1, followed by a sweep of New Mexico. Paige Bartsch led the team with a high of 24 kills while hitting .225 with three service aces, 17 digs, fives and a team-best 29.5 points.

🔼 On The Rise. Following a historic 2023 campaign, the Boise State beach volleyball team will look to continue its momentum heading into its opening tournament this weekend at the Spokane AVCA Pair Tournament. Hear from the coaching staff on why the Broncos have seen more and more success.

🔼 Keeping The Streak. Like Boise State volleyball, the Bronco soccer team will hit the road as they travel to face Colorado State on Thursday at 4 p.m. and Wyoming on Sunday at noon. Boise State is one of three teams left in the MW without a loss in conference play as the team looks to extend its MW undefeated streak to five matches. Of the 26 goals the Broncos have scored this season, 20 of them have come in the second half while the defense has allowed only two goals in the second half.

🔼 Leaving A Legacy. A big congratulations to Boise State women’s golf head coach Kailin Downs who was inducted into her alma mater’s Hall of Honor. During her time as a player in collegiate golf, Downs was named the Mountain West Player of the Year in 2002 and 2003 while earning a MW All-Conference in each of her four years in competition.
