🔼 Jeanty in Perpetuity. Boise State junior Ashton Jeanty was named Doak Walker National Running Back of the Week. This is his second time earning the award this season, running for 259 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-24 win over Washington State. This season, Jeanty has collected Doak Walker National Running Back of the Week twice and Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week three times.

🔼 A Little Birdie Told Us. Boise State men's golf shot 18-under par to finish seventh at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, in a deep, 19-team field Tuesday at the Colorado National Golf Club. This marks the lowest score in relation to par for the program since Fall 2021. Cole Rueck (-5), Gavyn Knight (-5) and Jake Slocum (-4) shot under-par on the week to finish in the top 30, while Boise State had 10 rounds at par-or-better as a group.

🔼 Bring It Home. Boise State Track and Field will host its first home event since 2019, head coach Pat McCurry announced Tuesday. The event, named in honor of legendary coach Ed Jacoby, is set for April 25, 2025, on the Ed Jacoby Track at Dona Larsen Park.

Jacoby coached the Broncos for 23 years from 1973-96. During his time with Boise State, Jacoby won nine Big Sky Conference Championships, was a ten-time conference coach of the year, and a three-time NCAA District Coach of the Year. He helped guide athletes to 23 NCAA All-American awards and coached two NCAA National Champions.

🔼 Serving Up Good News. Boise State women’s tennis will be represented in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the first edition of the Mountain West Fall Qualifiers today through Saturday—Oct. 2-5. The winners of the doubles and singles bracket will earn a direct qualification into the ITA Conference Masters Championships, Nov. 7-10, in San Diego, California.

🔼 Serving Up Good News, Part Two. Boise State men's tennis is heading to the inaugural Mountain West Fall Qualifiers. The four-man contingent will be playing for berths into the first ITA Conference Masters on November 7-10 and a chance to qualify for the NCAA Individual National Championships on November 19-24. New for this season is the transition of the NCAA Individual National Championships (singles and doubles) from the spring to the fall. As a result, there are several ways for student-athletes to qualify for nationals, and the ITA Conference Masters is one of those ways.

🔼 Broncos in the Wild. Nine former Broncos will represent Boise State in the NFL this week, including three on national television. Avery Williams and the Atlanta Falcons play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night. On Sunday morning, Brett Rypien and the Minnesota Vikings battle the New York Jets in London. Cedrick Wilson Jr. and the New Orleans Saints wrap up the action on Monday night, playing the Kansas City Chiefs.
