🔼 Terrific Trio. Boise State soccer’s Carly Cross and Genevieve Crenshaw were named MW Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, while Jillian Anderson earned MW Freshman of the Week. The three Broncos picked up their weekly awards as they helped lead Boise State to two wins over the weekend, clinching at least a share of the MW regular season championship. The team is also guaranteed a first-round bye in the conference tournament. The trio, along with the rest of the Boise State soccer team, will close out regular season play against Utah State on Thursday where a win or tie would guarantee a MW regular season championship.
🔼 Double The Fun. Boise State volleyball’s Kiki Remensperger has been named the Mountain West Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week. This marks the fourth time that she has been named the Freshman of the Week and the first as Defensive Player of the Week. Remensperger played a big role in the two victories over San Diego State and at UNLV last week by recording a double-double versus the Aztecs and her second career triple-double in the win against the Rebels.
🔼 Wait And See. The FOX Sports network and kickoff time for the game against the Broncos and the Wolf Pack on Nov. 9 will now be announced on Sunday, Nov. 3. Boise State's game against Nevada, which is already sold out, will be the 46th meeting between the two programs. The Broncos hold a 31-14 edge in the all-time series and have won 17 of the last 19 meetings.
