🔼 Watch Out. The Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year picked up a national accolade as Boise State men’s basketball’s Tyson Degenhart was named to the Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Top 20 Preseason Watch List. Degenhart is coming off his junior campaign last year in which he averaged 16.7 points on 50.3% field goal shooting as well as 6.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 blocks in 32 games. The Spokane, Wash. native was a first team Academic All-American, first team NABC All-District 17 selection, and first team All-Mountain West honoree.
🔼 Off The Blue. In the latest episode of Off The Blue, hear from Boise State women’s basketball’s Mya Hansen as she and the rest of the Broncos creep closer to the start of the 2024-25 season. Free admission on Saturday, but get your tickets for Monday's game.
🔼 More For Your Ears. Hear from Boise State soccer’s Jim Thomas and Max Weber on the From the Spot podcast following the team’s big win against UNLV that helped secure a share of the MW title.
🔼 Last Hoorah. After clinching a share of the Mountain West regular season title, Boise State soccer will close out the regular season against No. 25 Utah State today at 3 p.m. A win or tie against the Aggies will crown the Broncos as outright champions. Boise State is the only team left in the MW without a loss in conference play and has allowed the fewest goals in conference play with five.
🔼 Ready To Go. The Boise State volleyball team – tied for fifth in the MW – is on the road for week seven of Mountain West play, traveling to Utah State today and Nevada on Saturday. The Aggies won the season's first meeting in Boise on Oct. 19 in five sets, but Boise State leads the all-time series 29-24. The Broncos head into the matchup with some momentum following a weekend sweep of San Diego State and UNLV.
🔼 Racing For A Title. Both the Boise State men’s and women’s cross country teams head to USAFA, Colo., to compete in the Mountain West Championships on Friday for a chance at a conference title. The race will feature a women’s 6K race at 10 a.m. MT and a men’s 8K race at 10:45 a.m., both on the Eisenhower Golf Course. The Boise State women are coming off of a first-place finish at the LC State Invitational and a second-place finish at the Arturo Barrios Invitational while the men had four finishers in the top 20 at the Arturo Barrios Invitational.
