🔼 Back On The BLUE. Homecoming spirits are high in the Treasure Valley with anticipation building towards Saturday’s football game when No. 21 Boise State hosts Utah State at 5 p.m. at Albertsons Stadium. Saturday’s contest marks the first time the Broncos have not opened league play at home since 2020, but the Broncos are 27-3 (.900) when beginning conference play at home. The last time out, running back Ashton Jeanty broke records as he has run all across teams from coast to coast. Through 3 1/2 games the Heisman hopeful has 845 yards and 13 touchdowns rushing.

🔼 Soccer Goals. Boise State soccer midfielder Jillian Anderson carried the Broncos to an exciting 3-2 victory over New Mexico on Thursday night. With the score even at halftime, Anderson scored for the Broncos in the 71st minute, tucking the ball into the upper right corner from right inside the box, and again for the game-winner in the 88th minute after taking a pass from Carly Cross, making the final score 3-2. The win marks Boise State’s first over the Lobos since the 2019 season and are now just one of three teams left in the MW without a loss in conference play.

🔼 The Wait Is Over. Boise State men's basketball will play 13 Mountain West games on national television this upcoming season following the release of the official conference slate for the 2024-25 campaign. In addition to the 13 nationally-televised conference games – including seven at home – it was announced on Thursday that two other games in Boise will be nationally televised. The Broncos open the conference slate against Air Force (Dec. 21) at ExtraMile Arena and will close out 2024 with road games at San Jose State (Dec. 28) and Wyoming (Dec. 31).

🔼 Rally Win. Paige Bartsch and Annie Kaminski combined for 29 kills, 12 blocks, and 35 points to lead Boise State past Air Force in four sets to open Homecoming Week. The Blue and Orange outhit Air Force .221 to .086 for a 54 to 40 kill advantage. In addition, the Broncos recorded a season-high 15 blocks to AFA's six.

🗣️ "I was happy with the way the team came back. I give a lot of credit for the comeback to the leadership on our team. I think there's a pouring into the younger players from Annie and Paige as seniors, just helping people believe in the team and how we train every day and to believe that we have the talent to overcome a slow start and that we can work through adversity, whatever it is." - Shawn Garus, head coach

🔼 High Production. Boise State women’s tennis recorded a pair of wins on Thursday at the Mountain West Fall Qualifier. To begin the day, doubles team Maya Dutta and Zdena Safarova advanced to the final four after defeating the tournament’s second seed. Later, Safarova nabbed her third singles win of the competition to advance to the semifinals.
