🔷 ONE BIG THING

Boise State football running back Ashton Jeanty was named to his third Midseason All-America First Team by the Associated Press following the selections by both ESPN and CBS Sports. Jeanty is the only Group of 5 player to have received first-team honors across all three teams and one of two players to make the AP’s first team.

Jeanty made the team under “dual-threat” for both his rushing and receiving success so far this season. He currently leads the nation in all-purpose yards with 1,264, and the star running back, along with the rest of Bronco football, will host Wyoming on The Blue on Oct. 28.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Star Power. The awards strike again! Forward Kenzie MacMillan earned a spot on the College Soccer News’ National Team of the Week after scoring a pair of game-winners against San Jose State and Fresno State. MacMillan and the rest of the Broncos look to continue their winning streak with three matches left to play before the Mountain West Championship.

🔼 Previewing the Pack. Speaking of Bronco soccer, the team is currently sitting in a tie for first place in the MW, and will face off against Nevada at 7 p.m at the Boas Soccer Complex. All-time, Boise State holds the edge over the Wolf Pack with a record of 20-2-3 and has racked up 12 of those wins while at home.

Goalkeeper Genevieve Crenshaw currently has 18-career shutouts while head coach Jim Thomas has accumulated 111 wins as a Bronco. A win and a clean sheet would break the tie for a pair of school records.

🔼 Count Them Up. Bronco women’s tennis picked up eight wins in the first day at the ITA Mountain Region Championships. The day started with a win for duo Pauline Ernstberger and Shauna Heffernan and ended with a clutch win from Bhakti Shah in singles play. In total, Boise State finished the first round with five wins in singles play and three wins in doubles play.

🔼 Bronco Aces. Boise State volleyball will look to add to its conference win total tonight against San Diego State on the road. The Broncos head into the matchup following a dominant win over San Jose State and sit just one game back of first place in the MW with ten games left in the regular season.
