🔼 Never Back Down. In one of the most competitive matches of the season, Bronco volleyball came out on top against co-preseason MW favorites, UNLV, in a four-set victory on Saturday afternoon.

Boise State volleyball turned in a .300 hitting percentage, one of its best hitting performances of the season. Annie Kaminski finished with a career-high 17 kills on the match while hitting .762 on the match while Noelani Helm completed her ninth double-double of the season with 41 assists and 14 digs.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Record Breaker. Behind a shutout from goalkeeper Genevieve Crenshaw, Boise State soccer picked up its fifth MW win in a row. The clean sheet from Crenshaw earned her the program record for clean sheets in a career (19).

Forward Cindy Conner scored the match’s only goal of the game in the 11th minute, slotting the ball right past the keeper. From then on, the Bronco defense stifled UNLV, allowing just two shots on goal. The win also solidified that the Broncos would finish no lower than third place in the MW.

Next up, Boise State soccer will close out the regular season against Utah State on Thursday night.

🔼 Two ‘Ships. At the General Patton Invitational, hosted by the Broncos, the men’s tennis team came away with two championships and collected 12 wins across both singles and doubles play. Jan Lucca Marquardt and Kyvan Rietkerk went undefeated on the weekend to claim their doubles title while Rietkerk went on to win the Flight B singles championship.

🔼 Three ‘Ships. In the first action of the season, Boise State beach volleyball not only won all three divisions of the City of Trees Classic, but did not lose a single match in Sunday’s bracket play. The team finished a perfect 12-0 on Sunday to set up all-Bronco championship matches. Duos Marlayna Bullington and Sierra Land, Nora Hayd and Kaylee Mejia and Summer McCann and Elli Wolthuis each came away with season-opening titles in gold, silver and bronze divisions.

🔼 Strong Showing. Bronco women’s tennis wrapped up the ITA Mountain Region Championships with some notable victories and momentum heading into the next event. Doubles team Pauline Ernstberger and Shauna Heffernan won their 25th career match as a pair, moving up to No. 15 all-time for wins by a duo.
