🔷 ONE BIG THING

Boise State football is gearing up for another battle as the Broncos hit the midway point of the season. Saturday night, the Blue and Orange will face off against San Jose State in the team’s Homecoming Game.

This will be the 15th matchup between the Broncos and the Spartans. Boise State holds the all-time series lead with a 13-1 record, but the teams have not played one another since 2020. The Broncos will look to improve their conference record to 2-0 and 3-3 overall.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Clean House. Boise State volleyball started off the three-match homestand strong with a sweep of Fresno State. Paige Bartsch led all Broncos with 12 kills while Bella McGirr finished with a team-leading 17 digs. Boise State held its opponents to a .074 hitting percentage and helped force 19 errors on the match.

Next up, the Broncos will face off against Nevada in Bronco Gym on Saturday.

🔼 Playing By The Beach. Bronco women’s tennis is headed to Long Beach, Calif., for the three-day Beach Tennis Fall Tournament. Seven members of the team will make the trip including ITA All-American quarterfinalist Shauna Heffernan who will pair up with her new partner, Ariadna Briones Ginesta.

🔼 Close Match. Despite outshooting San Diego State in the match, the Broncos fell for the first time in MW play this season. The Aztecs scored the lone goal of the game in the first half, and despite a valiant effort in attacking the goal, the Broncos were unable to get one past the keeper.

Next up, the Boise State soccer will face off against New Mexico on Sunday afternoon.

🔼 But First, Basketball. This Saturday will be Bronco Nation’s first chance of the season to come out and see Boise State men’s basketball live and in action. The scrimmage will be held at 3:30 p.m. MT at ExtraMile Arena and is free to the public.
