🔼 Best of the Best. Boise State junior Ashton Jeanty has been named one of 10 semifinalists for the 2024 Doak Walker Award, an award presented annually to the nation's premier running back. Jeanty ranks first in the country in nearly every rushing category, including attempts (256), yards (1,893), touchdowns (26), yards after contact (1,370) and missed tackles forced (105). His yards after contact and missed tackles forced numbers are the highest single-season totals in the College Football Playoff era, which began in 2014.

🔼 Court Status. Boise State women’s tennis standout Zdena Safarova suffered her first loss of the season in the round of 64 at the NCAA Individual Championships on Tuesday afternoon. Safarova finishes her fall season 14-1 in singles, highlighted by victories at the Mountain West Fall Qualifiers and the ITA Mountain Regionals. She became the fourth Bronco in program history to compete in the NCAA Championships in singles.

🔼 Head Honcho. Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson has been named the American Football Coaches Association FBS Region 5 Coach of the Year. In his first full season as Boise State's head coach, Danielson has led the Broncos to a 9-1 record and the No. 13 spot in the College Football Playoff rankings, the highest among Group of 5 teams.

🔼 Academic Honors. Following Boise State soccer’s season, six Broncos were named to the CSC Academic All-District Team including the following: Genevieve Crenshaw, Carly Cross, Sophie Drown, Avery McBride, Evva Vail and Jasmine Young. To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have played in at least 90% of the team's competitions or started at least 66% of the team's total matches while holding a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better.
