🔼 Top Three. Former Boise State standouts Allie Ostrander and Marisa Howard both earned podium finishes at the USATF 10K Trail Running Championships. Ostrander, who finished second, is the most decorated student-athlete in Boise State history while Howard, in her first trail race, finished third, traversing the course in 44:20.
🗣️ “I loved seeing two Bronco greats competing at the highest level on the trails.” said head coach Pat McCurry. “Our distance runners get access to some of the best trail running in America every day, located just a few minutes from our track. It is a huge component of our training and the student athlete experience here.” - Pat McCurry, head coach
🔼 Outlasted. Boise State pulled out a thrilling 59-57 victory over San Francisco on Thursday night. The win gives the Broncos their ninth 5-0 start to a season in program history and the fifth under head coach Gordy Presnell. Tatum Thompson recorded team-highs in both points (12) and rebounds (8). The junior added two blocks and two steals in the victory.
🔼 Something Special. Check out CBS Sports’ recent feature on running back and Heisman frontrunner Ashton Jeanty and why Boise State football saw something in him that not many others did.
🔼 Generous Gift. Boise State women's basketball has received a $1 million dollar donation, director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey announced today. The donor has asked to remain anonymous.
🗣️ “We are so thankful that these anonymous donors believe in our What's Next mentality as we compete for and win championships in women's basketball and graduate amazing Bronco student-athletes." - Jeramiah Dickey
