Tuesday night’s marquee, Quad 1 win for Boise State men's basketball positions the Broncos for what's next as they prepare for Saturday's game at Nevada. Here are a few notables.

  • 2-0 in Mountain West play

  • Recorded the third-highest ranked win in program history behind #15 Washington (1998) and #11 Creighton (2012) . . . and second-highest ranked win at home behind Washington.

  • Broncos have won back-to-back games against AP Top 25 teams for the first time in program history.

  • Boise State has won 22 consecutive home games — the longest streak in program history and the longest active streak in the country.

  • A sellout crowd of 12,058 fans cheered the Broncos to victory.  It was the 10th-largest crowd at ExtraMile Arena and 12th of 12,000+.

  • Has four players averaging double-digit points per game

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Setting the Bar. This weekend, Boise State gymnastics will travel to West Valley City, Utah, for the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad. The Blue and Orange will take on a trio of top-35 ranked opponents in Arizona, Nebraska and North Carolina.

Seniors Courtney Blackson and Emily Lopez will head into the competition with MW Specialist of the Week honors for their routines on the floor and bars. Last time out, the Broncos scored 194.350 with three different gymnasts recording a career-best score.

🔼 Season Opener. The Broncos men's and women's track and field team is preparing for this weekend's events at the Spokane Indoor Challenge and the UW Indoor Preview. Fans will be able to follow along as the Broncos compete in a variety of events.

Boise State student-athletes combined to record the highest all-department single-semester and cumulative grade-point averages in department history. The Broncos also combined to have all 18 sports programs achieve a 3.0 or higher semester GPA. The scores mark the 33rd consecutive semester the department has posted a term GPA of 3.0 or higher.
