🔷 ONE BIG THING

Following a silver singles draw win at the San Diego Fall Classic II, Boise State women’s tennis senior Nicole Discenza was named the Ford Boise State Student-Athlete of the Week. She finished last week’s tournament undefeated in singles play with a 3-0 record, including a come-from-behind championship match win.

This fall, she tallied eight wins in singles play and has accumulated 52-career singles wins in her time with the Broncos.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Dark Mode. Boise State football will return to Albertsons Stadium for its next home game of the season to take on New Mexico under the lights on Saturday night. All-time, the Broncos are 12-1 against the Lobos and currently hold a six-game win streak against New Mexico dating back to 2016.

Quarterback tandem Taylen Green and Maddux Madsen will look to keep the offense rolling while linebackers Andrew Simpson and DJ Schramm will look to hold down the defensive side of the ball.

🔼 Run Broncos, Run. Bronco cross country will compete at NCAA Regionals in Sacramento, Calif., as both men’s and women’s teams aim to make an NCAA Nationals appearance. The men will race in the 10K while the women will run in the 6K. The top two-teams in the loaded field will earn automatic bids to the national championships as well as the top-four individual finishers not from an automatic qualifying teams.

Joe Hudson and the Boise State men are coming off a third-place finish at the Mountain West Championships while Autumn Ost led the women’s team to a second-place team finish.

🔼 Flying High. Today, Bronco Nation celebrates Veteran’s Day and all those who have served for our country. As a veteran and former Boise State football player, read about Chris Wing’s journey and how it has shaped who he is as a person today.
