Boise State men's basketball junior O'Mar Stanley garnered the Ford Boise State Student-Athlete of the Week honors after leading the Broncos to a 2-0 start in Mountain West play. Stanley averaged 23.5 points and 11 rebounds per game, with two double-doubles, between the first two conference games of the season.

In the Broncos’ win over No. 17 ranked Colorado State, Stanley contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds and was instrumental in the third-highest-ranked win in program history.

🔼 The Kid. Boise State football announced that Tevin Griffey, a defensive back out of Florida A&M, will enroll immediately and join the Broncos for spring practice and the 2024 season. Griffey is a four-year player and has competed in 23 games totaling 24 tackles, one interception, a blocked kick, and a touchdown.

Griffey comes from a family of athletes as his older brother, Trey, played football at Arizona. His father played a different sport, spending 22 years in the MLB with the Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds and Chicago White Sox. His grandfather, Ken Sr., also is a 22-year MLB veteran who played for four teams in his career.
