🔷 ONE BIG THING

Running on plenty. A relentless rushing attack and ferocious pass rush helped Boise State to its 26th-stright bowl-eligible season—as the Broncos won 45-10 over Utah State, the first under interim head coach Spencer Danielson.

George Holani ran for 178 yards and two scores while Ashton Jeanty churned out 85 yards to surpass the 1,000-yard plateau. In all, the Broncos recorded a season-high 352 rushing yards and tied an FBS-era program record with nine sacks.

Not only that, but Boise State forced a season-high four turnovers in the game as Braxton Fely forced two fumbles while A'marion McCoy and Rodney Robinson each recorded their first interception of the season.

🏈 The Broncos close the regular season on The Blue, hosting Air Force on Friday, Nov. 24. The MW battle will kick off at 2 p.m. and air on FS1.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Serve’s Up. Boise State volleyball closed the regular season with a big 3-1 victory at Fresno State on Saturday to secure a berth in this week's Mountain West Championship in Las Vegas.

The Blue and Orange used a balanced offense to get past the Bulldogs, with five Broncos recording seven or more kills and four reaching double-digit points. Boise State outhit Fresno State .324 to .192 in securing the victory.

🗣 Head Coach Shawn Garus: "I am really proud of how the team battled today and how they were resilient down the stretch. We came out with a lot of energy and played well in the first two sets. Credit Fresno State, they are a good team and they showed it in the third and fourth sets when they rallied back. Our team did a great job keeping its focus and coming away with the win."

🔼 Looking Forward. On the road for the first time this season, Boise State men's basketball fell 85-68 to Clemson on Sunday at Littlejohn Coliseum.

The Broncos closed a nine-point deficit in the first half to go into the locker room down 41-38, and O'Mar Stanley went on to tie the game on the first possession of the second half as he drew a foul on a made layup to make it 41-41. From there the Tigers shot 50 percent from beyond the arc in the second half and used a 25-12 advantage on the boards to control the second half to hand Boise State its first loss of the season.

🚀 Chibuzo Agbo led a trio of Boise State scorers in double figures with 18 points.

📆 Boise State faces a quick turnaround to the ESPN Events Invitational, held Nov. 23-26, and they’ll remain on the East Coast and open the tournament against Virginia Tech on Thursday at 6 p.m.

🔼 Party Like It’s 2019. Joe Hudson placed 60th at the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championships—traversing the 10-kilometer course in 30:07.6. He continued to move up throughout the race, jumping at least six spots for the first six splits, climbing 43 spots from 103rd at the 1k split.

This was the highest finish at nationals that a Bronco male student-athlete has had since 2019, and Hudson was the fourth-highest placing runner from the Mountain West.

🤔 BLUE TURF TRIVIA

Record scratch. We mentioned above that Boise State’s defense tied an FBS-era program record with nine sacks against Utah State on Saturday.

Our question today—those nine sacks are the most that the Broncos have recorded in a game since registering eight sacks against what team during a 38-30 victory in the 2014 Fiesta Bowl?
