🔷 ONE BIG THING

Many of Boise State’s programs signed new talent through National Signing Day, but none was bigger than women’s tennis addition of Texas’ No. 1 ranked recruit Maya Dutta to the 2024 recruiting class. The five-star recruit has won four Junior ITF singles titles and holds a current ITF Junior ranking of 158, the highest ranking of her career thus far.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Soccer’s Seven Signees. Bronco soccer was among the programs with the most signees from National Signing Day with seven players joining the 2024 recruiting class. Among the players to sign on the dotted line to represent the Blue and Orange were forwards Oakley Anderson, Sophie Schmautz and Kennedy Sullivan, midfielders Jillian Anderson and Tambree Bell, and defenders Emily Brashear and Kaylee McKeehan.

🔼 Men’s Hoops Additions. Two players were added to Boise State men’s basketball from National Signing Day as Idaho native Julian Bowie and Oregon prospect Pearson Carmichael joined the 2024 recruiting class. Bowie is a 6-foot-3 guard out of Pocatello, Idaho, who helped his team to the Adidas 3SSB under-17 National Championship. Carmichael will come in as a 6-foot-7 guard, averaging 23.5 points and 9.2 rebounds at the Class 5A level.

🔼 More Bronco Gymnasts. Boise State gymnastics signed three future Broncos as part of the 2024 recruiting class. Noelle Ball and Bridget Kemp will join the team as a two-time national qualifiers and Kristina Shchennikova arrives after a 2023 state all-around championship in Colorado.

🔼 Another Bronco Baller. On the heels of a season-opening win, Boise State women’s basketball added Teryn Gardner to its 2024 recruiting class. Gardner will join the Broncos from Spokane, Wash., after earning the Greater Spokane League Most Valuable Player award, averaging 25.3 points, eight rebounds and 5.3 assists.

🔼 Parker’s New Place. Bronco women’s golf added a member to its 2024 recruiting class with the signing of Nevada native, Zoe Parker. Parker played four years at Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, Nev., and averaged a career-best 72.2 scoring average as a senior.

🔼 Varsity Nine.The Boise State softball program signed four infielders, two pitchers, two utility players and an outfielder as its members of the 2024 recruiting class. Read more about each of the nine newest Bronco softball players.

🔼 Four on the Court. Boise State volleyball announced the signing of four high school standouts for the 2024 campaign. The four newest Broncos include Addy Benefield (Irvine, Calif.), Eliza Sharp (Burlingame, Calif.), Katelyn Van Kirk (Bozeman, Mont.) and Lilli Etter (Spokane, Wash.).

🤔 BLUE TURF TRIVIA

Fresh Legs. Boise State forward Andrew Meadow became the fifth true freshmen to start the season opener for Bronco men's basketball during head coach Leon Rice's tenure.
