🔷 ONE BIG THING

To celebrate 25 seasons of the Mountain West, the conference announced its 25th season football team, and Boise State tied for the most selections to the squad in the conference.

Eight total Broncos were selected to the team: quarterbacks Kellen Moore and Brett Rypien, running back Jay Ajayi, defensive linemen Curtis Avery and Demarcus Lawrence, linebacker Leighton Vander Esch, defensive back Darian Thompson and return specialist Avery Williams.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Twice Is Nice. For the second time this season, running back Ashton Jeanty was named the Ford Boise State Student-Athlete of the Week. In the Broncos’ win against Air Force, Jeanty recorded 225 yards from scrimmage and became the first Boise State football player to to finish with 100 yards rushing and receiving since 2016.

🔼 Broncos in Boston. On Saturday, Boise State track and field will compete in the first indoor meet of the 2023-24 season at the Sharon Colyear-Danville in Boston, Mass. The Broncos return three of its six All-Mountain West honorees from last season, with Kaiya Robertson competing this weekend.

🔼 Battle Tested. Boise State men’s basketball will hit the road this weekend to face off in a neutral site game against Saint Mary’s. The 3-3 Broncos have faced the 12th-toughest schedule in the nation so far this season according to KenPom, and now, will battle against another KenPom top 100 team. Tyson Degenhart and Max Rice lead the one-two punch for Boise State as each is averaging 14 points per game.

🔼 Fan Fave. Boise State football’s James Ferguson-Reynolds has quickly risen to the top of the fan favorites list among Bronco Nation, and for good reason. Check out the video highlighting one of the nation’s top punters ahead of the MW Championship.
