🔷 ONE BIG THING
Following a stellar year as an outside hitter for Boise State volleyball, junior Paige Bartsch was honored by the AVCA as an All-America Honorable Mention. In addition to the award, Bartsch has recently been named AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention, Mountain West Co-Player of the Year and All-MW.
Bartsch was one of the most dominant players in the conference in the 2023 season. She led the MW in eight statistical categories: total kills (530), kills per set (5.05), total attacks (1,349), attacks per set (12.85), total service aces (52), service aces per set (0.50), total points (614.5) and points per set (5.85). Bartsch closed the regular season recording 13 contests with 20-plus kills and 16 contests with 20-plus points, with two in the 30s.
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Another Ride. Boise State’s offensive coordinator for the 2023 season, Bush Hamdan, will remain on staff as the OC while adding the title of associate head coach. The deal, solidified this week, comes as the Broncos prepare to play in the LA Bowl hosted by Gronk in which Hamdan will direct the offense.
🗣️ “Asking Bush to stay was one of my first priorities in building this staff and I am incredibly excited that he will remain at Boise State. He and I both agree in the approach that our offense should always be opportunistic and on the attack.” - Spencer Danielson
Under Hamdan this season, the Broncos averaged 32.9 PPG which ranked 32nd in the FBS. He also helped guide the team to nine-straight games scoring 30 or more points, matching national semifinalists Michigan and Texas for the second-longest streak in the nation and the longest such streak for the Blue and Orange since 2011.

🤔 BLUE TURF TRIVIA
Group of four. Junior Paige Bartsch had an outstanding year that led to her AVCA All-America Honorable Mention award, but she isn’t the only Bronco to have earned that honor.
Can you name the other three Broncos who have been named AVCA All-America Honorable Mention?
