🔷 ONE BIG THING

Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty has been named as one of five finalists for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award. Jeanty was a winner of one Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Player of the Week and was a two-time Honorable Mention this season.

The sophomore ranks second in the FBS in yards from scrimmage (1,814) and all-purpose yards per game (164.9). He has gained 1,262 rushing yards and 552 receiving yards, scoring 19 total touchdowns. He is the first FBS player since 2016 to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in a 10-game span. Jeanty is the only player in the FBS with multiple 50+ yard rushing touchdowns and multiple 50+ yard receiving touchdowns, scoring two of each.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Ready Up. The Broncos learned the 2024 home and away designations of their seven conference opponents plus their assignment in the league's new scheduling alliance with the remaining members of the Pac-12 Conference.

🔼 Praise For Our Punter. The punter from Down Under was recognized for his incredible season by being named to the 2023 All-America second-team by the American Football Coaches Association. It’s James Ferguson-Reynolds’ second All-America Second Team honor of the postseason following his selection by Sports Illustrated.

This season, the Aussie has 25 punts that traveled 50 or more yards which rank 12th nationally. His punting caused eight touchbacks – ranking third in the country – while posting a net punting average of 43.1 yards, a number that placed him 10th in the FBS.

🔼 Warm Welcome. Boise State soccer’s forward roster just got a bit deeper as transfer Desiree Foster will join the team for the 2024 season. Foster comes from Arizona where she started in four matches and finished the season with a goal and two assists.

🗣️ "In order to win championships, you need championship-level players, in all positions, and Dez elevates our attack not only with ability and athleticism but with quality and experience.” - Jim Thomas

🔼 Keeping Busy. Check out a few of the LA Bowl week events ahead of Saturday's game.

🔼 Defensive Mind. Head coach Spencer Danielson announced that he would bring back, and promote, Erik Chinander who will take over as defensive coordinator and defensive line coach.

🗣️ "He has such a bright and innovative defensive mind, and truly is an elite teacher of the game. He focuses on the development of players on and off the field and is dedicated to building long-lasting relationships." - Spencer Danielson

Chinander joined Boise State football’s staff last December and has served as the assistant head coach, defensive line coach and the defensive run-game coordinator since then. This season he has directed a defensive unit that leads the conference, and ranks 10th nationally, in sacks.
