Following his performance in the Starco Brands LA Bowl hosted by Gronk, running back George Holani earned his second Ford Boise State Student-Athlete of the Week. Facing a stout UCLA defense, Holani rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns contributing to the 215 total rushing yards on the game, the most the Bruins allowed all season.

🔼 San Diego Dub. The Broncos came out on top 64-52 against San Diego in the second, and final, game of the San Diego Winter Classic. Natalie Pasco drained six 3-pointers and scored a season-high 27 points to help lead Boise State to the win.

Abby Muse had her best performance of the season after finishing with a season-high 15 points and recorded a double-double with 13 rebounds. The Broncos improved to 9-4 on the season and will pick back up with conference play against Wyoming on Dec. 30 at 2 p.m.

🔼 Tested on the Road. Boise State men’s basketball went into Spokane, Wash., but were unable to pull away from a tough Washington State team. The game was back-and-forth from the start and featured a total of nine ties and 10 lead changes.

O’Mar Stanley filled the stat sheet and finished as the Bronco’s leading scorer with a career-high 23 points and added six rebounds and three blocks. Tyson Degenhart finished the game with a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Next up, the Broncos will face off against Utah State in the last non-conference game of the season on Dec. 29 at 7 p.m.
