Good morning! Its official: Spencer Danielson is Boise State football’s 12th head coach in program history! Danielson served as the interim head coach for the Broncos’ last three games of the season, including the MW Championship.

🔷 ONE BIG THING

Overcoming all odds this season, Boise State football reigns supreme as Mountain West Champions after a convincing 44-20 win, over UNLV. A record crowd of 31,473 were in attendance to witness the Bronco’s MW record fifth win.

🏆️ Offensive MVP: Taylen Green

🏆️ Defensive MVP: Alexander Teubner

Boise State out gained UNLV’s 298 total yards on the ground alone with 301 rushing yards. Ashton Jeanty led the way with 153 yards on the ground, but MW Offensive MVP, quarterback Taylen Green, added another 90 rushing yards along with another score.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Broncos came up big with three takeaways, one of which came at the hands of the Defensive MVP, Alexander Teubner. He finished the game with a 10 total tackles as well as a fumble recovery.

Following the outstanding performance in Las Vegas, the Broncos will get set to take on UCLA in the LA Bowl hosted by Gronk on Dec. 16.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Big Win in Idaho Falls. Playing in the first NCAA DI game at Hero Arena at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the Broncos beat Saint Mary’s 63-60.

Boise State was propelled to a victory thanks in part to the Tyson Degenhart, the team’s leading scorer, with a stat-stuffing 17 points, five assists, four rebounds, block and a steal. The bench came alive as well as they combined for 22 points with Andrew Meadow coming up with some clutch three-pointers down the stretch.

Next up, the Broncos will return to The X to face off against North Texas on Tuesday for a night game at 7 p.m.

🔼 Opened Season. In Boise State’s first indoor track and field event of the season, 12 Broncos finished with a career best. On the men’s side, Tom Patrick recorded the fastest time in the 5,000-meter with a time of 13:53.96, and on the women’s, Kaiya Robertson led the way after finishing her 5,000-meter race with a time of 16:20.95.

🔼 Broncos vs. Eagles. Natalie Pasco put up a team-high 12 points, but the Broncos were unable to come away with a win against Eastern Washington. Linsey Lovrovich tallied a season-high eight points, and Abby Muse did a little bit of everything with four points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Next up, Boise State will head home to play against Cal State Bakersfield on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
