🔷 ONE BIG THING

Sophomore guard Natalie Pasco led the Broncos in scoring with 21 points as Boise State women's basketball fell to UNLV, 84-63 at The X. Pasco recorded her fourth 20-point game of the season and seventh of her collegiate career. Dani Bayes scored all 10 of her points in the fourth quarter as she finished 4-of-7 from the field and drained both of her 3-point attempts. Senior Abby Muse added nine points, seven rebounds and four blocks.

Next up, the Broncos will get set to hit the road and take on San Diego State on Jan. 27 at 2 p.m.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Serving Time. Boise State women’s tennis will make its 2024 spring season debut as they welcome Idaho State and Washington State to the Boas Indoor Tennis Center this weekend. The Broncos are 12-1 in season-opening matches under head coach Beck Roghaar, and last year, the team opened against Montana State and camed away with a 4-1 win.

The Broncos competed in seven tournaments this past fall, winning 51.2% of their single matches and 56.9% of their doubles matches. Together the team won four event titles, including a victory from Shauna Heffernan and Pauline Ernstberger in the top flight of the Barb Chandler Classic. Boise State returns eight student-athletes from last season's squad, including Ernstberger, a three-time All-Mountain West singles selection, and all-conference doubles tandem Lorelyz Marruffo and Nicole Discenza.

🔼 Big Time. Future Bronco cross country runner Ruth White has been named the 2023-24 Maine Girls Cross Country Player of the Year. The Boise State commit earned the award following her top 10 finish in last year’s National Foot Locker Championship on Dec. 9.
