🔷 ONE BIG THING

Boise State men’s tennis has started 2024 strong with a 3-1 record. The Broncos have accumulated three wins by a score of 17-4 with victories over Idaho State, Lewis-Clark State, and Oregon. Leading the way for the team is Liam Toroman who has recorded 10 wins in singles play dating back to the start of the season on Sept. 13, 2023. The freshman from Los Angeles, Calif., and the rest of Boise State men’s tennis, will look to keep the ball rolling this weekend with matches on the road against Michigan State and Indiana.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Road Warriors. Boise State women’s basketball takes to the road again with a contest at Fresno State on Wednesday, Jan. 30. Last season, the Broncos swept the Bulldogs. Natalie Pasco, the team’s leading scorer with 293 total points this season, and the rest of Boise State women’s basketball will look to improve its conference record to 5-4 and move to 14-8 on the season.

🔼 A Visit To The Pit. Coming off a close overtime loss to Utah State, Boise State men’s basketball will look to get back in the win column on the road against New Mexico on Wednesday night. Both the Broncos (5-2) and the Lobos (6-2) enter the matchup in the mix at the top of a close race in the Mountain West standings. Four Broncos will come into the contest with over 200 points this season with Tyson Degenhart leading the way with 296 so far.

🔼 In The Spotlight: Katie Schaum. The second-year graduate assistant is working in the marketing & promotions department at Boise State Athletics while pursuing a degree in the Master of Athletic Leadership (MAL) program. Outside of game day, the department heavily focuses its attention on advertising, increasing fan attendance, and helping coordinate social media posts and branding. It also determines which community events are beneficial to attend and what student-athletes should make an appearance to have the biggest impact.
