The Broncos (17-7, 9-4 Mountain West) collected their fourth straight win and improved to 11-1 at home this season while also improving to 42-4 all time against San Jose State, including 23-0 at home.
 
Boise State defeated the Spartans by 27, signifying the team's 12th double-digit win of the season and eighth by 20 points or more.

🔼 Sundays Are For Sweeping 🧹. The top of the order combined for 14 hits and Boise State posted a pair of victories, Sunday at the NorCal Kickoff. The Broncos (4-1) defeated Saint Mary's 6-3 before routing tournament co-host UC Davis 15-5 in five innings.

Mykenzie Hanna moved into a tie for third place all-time at Boise State with 37-career home runs. Sophia Knight had multiple hits in each of the Broncos' five games during the opening weekend.

🔼 Boise State Doles Out Donuts. The Boise State women's tennis team improved to 6-0 with a pair of 7-0 victories over Linfield and the College of Idaho, Friday.

Boise State's dominance in doubles carried into singles, where the team won all five matches played against the Wildcats by 6-0 scores. The Broncos lost just six games across the six singles matches with the Yotes, cruising to their second 7-0 victory to close out the day.

🔼 Making History. Carson Baker's three-set victory at No. 2 singles completed the Boise State rally Sunday afternoon as the Broncos came from behind to upset 22nd-ranked Michigan State 4-3 at home. The win was the first for Boise State over a top-25 team since 2014 and improved the Blue and Orange to 4-1 on the year.

James Van Herzeele won both matches at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles (the latter marked his 60th career win). Carson Baker defeated a nationally ranked opponent at No. 2 singles to clinch the match and claim his team-high 13th win of the year.

🔼 Tumbling Upwards. Emily Lopez and Kristina Shchennikova earned event titles as Boise State cruised to a first-place victory over Air Force and Greenville, Sunday afternoon. The Broncos put up a season-high overall score of 195.975 to defeat the Falcons (194.775) and the Panthers (191.175).

Not only does this mark the first-career beam title for Shchennikova, but also her first collegiate beam performance. Lopez picked up her ninth-career vault title as well.

🤸🏽‍♀️ : THE WHOLE SHEBANG

🔼 Putting His Best Foot Forward. Senior Calvin Bostic recorded a 17.74m shot put to earn first place among 27 competitors as Boise State wrapped up the final day of competition in Spokane, Saturday.

For the second-consecutive meet, a Bronco posted a top-five all-time result. Boise State also notched seven personal bests across the three day event, highlighted by McKenna Murphy's 57.71 in the women's 400-meters.

🔼 No Desert Divots. The Boise State women’s golf team will start the 2025 portion of the season at Mountain Classic Match Play, competing today through Wednesday (Feb. 10-12) in Palm Desert, Calif. Matches begin at 11 a.m. MT each day.

THE FIRST ROUND PAIRINGS: Boise State vs. Portland State, Seattle vs. Montana State, Northern Arizona vs. Wyoming, North Dakota State vs. St. Thomas.

The Broncos concluded the fall with a record-breaking effort at The Clash at Boulder Creek. Boise State fired an 846 (-18), the lowest three-round score in program history.

🔼 A Nail-Biter. The Boise State WBB team nearly pulled off a 15-point comeback, eventually falling 67-61 to Colorado State Saturday afternoon in ExtraMile Arena.

Trailing 53-38 entering the fourth quarter, the Broncos (16-10, 5-7 Mountain West) got within two points of the Rams (15-7, 8-3 MW) with a little over a minute remaining. Boise State got a stop on the defensive end, but missed a potential game-tying basket on the offensive side.

Tatum Thompson finished with a double-double in the loss—the sixth in her career—recording 21 points and 14 rebounds.
