🔼 They Sprung Into Action. The Boise State women's golf team opened the spring campaign with a championship, winning the title at Mountain Classic Match Play. The Broncos defeated Portland State in the first round and Seattle in the semifinal before topping Northern Arizona in the final.
Teal Matsueda and Brooke Patterson led the Blue and Orange, both finishing the week 3-0-0. Jillian Hui and Hannah Lim added two wins apiece while Annie Buffolino tallied one. In the individual bracket, Emily Cadwell, Macee Greenwood and Zoe Parker each notched one victory.

🔼 Whole Lotta Hoopla. The Boise State WBB team will have a quick turnaround over the next few days. The Broncos (15-10, 5-7 Mountain West) will first head to Albuquerque, N.M., to face New Mexico tonight for a 7 p.m. MT tipoff. The Blue and Orange will then return to the Treasure Valley to host Fresno State at 1 p.m. MT on Saturday, Feb. 15.
The Lobos (13-12. 6-6 MW) enter the contest tied for fifth place and hold a one-game lead in the league standings over the Broncos. This is the second time this season the two teams have met, with Boise State picking up an 89-80 win against New Mexico on Jan. 28.

🔼 The Buck Stops Here. Defense wins games, and it’s a good thing Emmanuel Ugbo knows that.

🔼 He’s Holding Court. Boise State sophomore Carson Baker has been named the Mountain West Men's Tennis Player of the Week for Feb. 12. This is Baker's first MW Player of the Week honor and the second this year for Boise State.
Baker played No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles against the Spartans, playing a big role in the upset victory over 22nd-ranked Michigan State last Sunday. He rallied from a disappointing set one tiebreaker defeat in singles to battle back and sweep the last two sets to claim the victory, 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-4, over 43rd-ranked Matthew Forbes.

🔼 From Boise, With Love. Huge congratulations to Boise State soccer alum Genevieve Crenshaw for signing a pro contract to play for Tindstóll in Iceland! We are so proud of you and can't wait to cheer you on!
