Good Morning, Bronco Nation 2/18: Penultimate Home Tip For WBB
Boise State WBB remains in the Treasure Valley tonight with their second-to-last home game against Wyoming.
Good Morning, Bronco Nation! WHAT’S NEXT: Boise State WBB will remain in the Treasure Valley with a contest against Wyoming tonight in ExtraMile Arena. The game, which is one of two home games remaining for the Blue and Orange, will tip off at 6:30 p.m. MT.
Two Broncos are closing in on significant career milestones. Abby Muse is is within sight of two MW all-time records – the Brentwood, Calif., native is 27 blocks away from becoming the league’s all-time career blocks leader and is 53 rebounds away from becoming the conference's all-time rebounding leader. Mary Kay Naro is currently 38 assists from matching the program record of 616 career assists held by Yaiza Rodriguez (2013-17).

🔼 Getting Her Freshman Flowers. Boise State shortstop Chloe Hughes was named Mountain West Freshman of the Week, Monday.
Hughes batted .800 (8-for-10) in four starts and was named all-tournament at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge, Feb. 13-15. The Mariposa, California native collected a hit in each game thus far, including three multi-hit efforts. She finished the week with four runs, .833 on-base percentage, 1.200 slugging percentage and 2.033 OPS.

🔼 No More Angling For the Lead. ICYMI—Angus Fitzgerald now holds the fastest indoor 800m time in program history!

🔼 A Blip On the Bronco Radar. Boise State women's tennis suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Washington State 6-1 Sunday afternoon.
The Cougars (8-3) took an early 1-0 lead after securing the doubles points with wins on court one and three.
Washington State then claimed the first three singles victories at the No. 2, 3 and 1 positions, to clinch the overall team win. Ariadna Briones Ginesta earned a point for the Broncos (7-1) at the No. 5 position before the Cougars won the final singles match on court six to complete the 6-1 victory.

🔼 And That’s a Wrap. The Boise State women's golf team concluded a trip to California tying for 15th at the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic. Teal Matsueda led the Broncos with a 27th-place finish, firing a 219 (+6). Zoe Parker shot a 71 (E) in the first round, which was her collegiate debut in stroke play.
