🔼 Once a Bronco, You Always Bleed Blue. You might recall our December announcement that Bronco-phenom-turned-top-NFL-prospect Ashton Jeanty had won the Doak Walker Award and the 88th Maxwell Award. He is the first player to earn both awards since Derrick Henry (Alabama, 2015) and the only Group of 5 player to earn both in the same season. He is also the first Boise State player to win each award.
Jeanty outrushed 115 FBS teams in his last season as a Bronco, tallying 2,497 rushing yards, which ranks fourth in FBS single-season history. He is tied for first in the nation with 29 rushing touchdowns, equaling or eclipsing the total of 118 teams.
🏆 Read more about Jeanty’s many accomplishments that led to this award, and enjoy a look at the highlights above. 🏈
