The Boise State gymnastics team outlasted Iowa State to earn the dual victory over the No. 19 ranked Cyclones, 196.525-195.550. Senior Courtney Blackson led the Broncos with the highest overall score, tying the school record on floor with a 9.950. Boise State's team score was the highest of the season thus far. Emily Lopez tied for first on bars, scoring 9.875, and tied for second on beam with another score of 9.875. The win improves Boise State to 6-2 as the team prepares for a nonconference dual against Southern Utah on Friday.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Bronco Blowout. Boise State men’s basketball put together an impressive team performance en route to its 38-point win over Air Force. The Broncos’ win in front of 12,004 Blue and Orange faithful, coupled with Utah State’s loss on the road, moved the Broncos to a tie for first place in the MW standings.

Senior Tyson Degenhart finished with a game-high 29 points on a highly efficient 11-of-12 from the field. O’Mar Stanley and Chibuzo Agbo each recorded 14-point games, and Cam Martin provided a team-high six rebounds and seven assists off the bench. Boise State's 1.6 points per possession against Air Force was the highest of any DI team in a conference game in the last six years.

🔼 Weekend Warriors. Boise State track and field had six student-athletes establish career-best performances over the weekend at the Riverfront Invitational and Multis. Anita Taviore finished fifth in the women's 200-meter with a time of 24.36. Freshman Trevor Cogley ran a personal-best time in the 400m after clocking in a time of 49.59.

🔼 Homeward Bound. Boise State men's tennis wrapped up its two-week stint on the road on Sunday afternoon with a 4-1 defeat at Indiana. Sam Sippel won his doubles match with partner Jip van Assendelft and recorded the team’s sole point with a 6-3, 6-2 win in singles play. The match moved the Broncos to 3-3 on the year. The team will return home to host Cal Poly and Eastern Washington next weekend for a doubleheader in Boise.
