🔷 ONE BIG THING

Boise State women’s basketball fought hard in the semifinals of the Mountain West Championship but fell just short to San Diego State, 72-69. Mya Hansen followed up her performance in the quarterfinals with another strong effort as the team’s leading scorer with 19 points. Five other Broncos, including Natalie Pasco and Abby Muse, tallied eight or more points on the night. The Broncos end the season with 21 total wins.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Fantastic Four. Four Boise State men's basketball players have been honored by the Mountain West's coaches with all-conference honors. Tyson Degenhart was named to the first team for the second year in a row. O’Mar Stanley took home second-team honors in his first year with the Broncos. Chubzo Agbo and Max Rice received honorable mention. This is the first all-conference honor for Agbo and Stanley while Rice was named to the league's second team in 2022-23. Boise State heads to the conference tournament with a 22-9 record and as the league's No. 3 seed to play the winner of New Mexico vs. Air Force in a quarterfinal, on Thursday, March 14, at 9:30 p.m.

🔼 More Awards. Seniors Courtney Blackson and Emily Lopez and sophomore Anna Ferguson each collected Mountain West Specialist of the Week awards following their performances in the Broncos' quad meet last weekend. Blackson earned Bars Specialist of the Week for the first time after scoring a career-high 9.950. Ferguson was named Co-Beam Specialist of the Week alongside Lopez who each posted scores of 9.950 to win the event. Boise State will host MW rival Utah State and nonconference foe Oregon State in its final home meet on Sunday.
