Good morning! Members of the 1993-94 Big Sky Champions were on hand this week for recognition in Boise! The Broncos finished as the No. 5 seed that season and played three games as underdogs to come out on top and receive an automatic bid into The Big Dance.

🔷 ONE BIG THING
In the quarterfinal round of the Mountain West Championship, Boise State men’s basketball fell to New Mexico, 76-66. Tyson Degenhart led all Broncos in scoring with 23 points and finished the game with a double-double, adding 12 rebounds. Chibuzo Agbo, Roddie Anderson III and Max Rice all finished in double figures and combined for eight of the team’s 10 made 3-pointers in the matchup against the Lobos. Now, the Broncos will look to Selection Sunday to see where the team will be placed for the NCAA Tournament.

🔼 Weekly Honors. Boise State women's golf’s sophomore, Leia Chung, has been named the Ford Boise State Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time. Chung was the individual co-champion at the Pizza Hut-Lady Thunderbird Invitational, finishing at even-par to tie for first in the field of 80. Her efforts helped the Broncos capture the team crown, finishing 10 strokes ahead of the second-place squad. This marked her first collegiate tournament title and second-straight event finishing at the top of the leaderboard.
🔼 Finally Home. After a month away from Boise, Bronco men’s tennis is back at the Appleton Tennis Center and will host Purdue today at 3 p.m. Boise State is coming off the Diablo College Tennis Invitational where the team finished with a 1-2 record, against three ranked opponents. The Broncos lead the all-time series against the Boilermakers, 2-0. Sam Sippel will take court one as he enters the week ranked 112th nationally.
🔼 Home Opener. Boise State softball is heading into the City of Trees Classic off a 4-0 weekend in Orem, Utah where the Broncos scored 51 runs in 23 offensive innings. The Broncos will play at home for the first time this season as the team welcomes St. Thomas, Idaho State and Santa Clara. Boise State is 15-10 on the season and is 40th in the NCAA RPI and the Massey Ratings (as of March 13).
🔼 Back Home Again. Boise State women’s tennis will begin Mountain West play as the team hosts San Jose State and No. 59 San Diego State for a pair of matches at Appleton Tennis Center. The Broncos will play the Aztecs, the third ranked team, this season. Joana Baptista, Ariadna Briones Ginesta, Pauline Ernstberger and Bhakti Shah all reached 10 singles wins on the season. Baptista has a winning percentage of 66.7%, while Briones Ginesta has one of 45.5%.
