🔷 ONE BIG THING

Boise State men’s basketball seeks to extend its five-game win streak as the team plays its final home game of the season against Nevada tonight at 9 p.m. The Broncos are coming off a big 89-79 win over New Mexico, keeping the Blue and Orange in a tie for first place in the Mountain West standings with Utah State. The Broncos will head into the matchup against the Wolfpack with a 21-8 record and a 12-4 conference record. The big four, consisting of Chibuzo Agbo, Tyson Degenhart, Max Rice, and O’Mar Stanley are each averaging double-digits this season and make up nearly 56 of the team’s points night in and night out.

🗣️ “The last five games you've seen our defensive intensity pick up. We're hoping to continue that through the last two games of the season." - head coach Leon Rice

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Playing At Palmetto. Boise State golf capped off its first round at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate with a 14-over par finish to sit in a tie for fifth. Cole Rueck and Alex Talbot each shot under par as two of six golfers in the tournament who finished in the red figures on the day. Talbot sits alone in fourth place in the individual standings after firing off a 2-under par round while Rueck is in a tie for fifth at 1-under par.

🔼 Critical Contest. Boise State women’s basketball will compete in its final game of the regular season on the road at 6:30 p.m. tonight against Colorado State. The Broncos can clinch a first-round bye at the 2024 Mountain West Basketball Championship with a win over the Rams. Boise State enters the matchup in fourth place and sits a game ahead of Colorado State, Nevada and San Diego State, while trailing New Mexico and Wyoming by a game in the conference standings. The Blue and Orange seek to cap off a strong season with a win after a near-successful 16-point comeback against Air Force on Saturday.
