🔷 ONE BIG THING

After winning the most matches in program history, Boise State beach volleyball’s entire starting lineup was named to one of the two Southland All-Conference teams. Three Bronco duos were tabbed to the All-SLC First Team with Marlayna Bullington and Sierra Land earning the distinction on the top court, Addison Wolden and Abbie Wolf receiving the honors on court four and Sharli O'Neil and Elli Wolthuis being recognized as the conference's top No. 5 pair.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Top Tier. Competing at the NCAA Championships, Courtney Blackson scored a 9.925 on bars in the semifinal. Blackson's performance marked the highest bars score by a Bronco at nationals in program history. She also tied the highest score on any apparatus at nationals in Boise State history, a record she set last year when she scored a 9.925 on vault to achieve individual national runner-up status. Blackson earned a spot on the WCGA All-America First Team with her top-eight performance in the first semifinal.

🔼 Top Pair. On top of being named the No. 1 duo of the Southland Conference, Marlayna Bullington and Sierra Land were named the conference’s Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week. The honor marks the third time this season that the Boise State pair has earned the award and the fourth time the program has received this recognition. In addition, it is Land's fifth career SLC Pair of the Week accolade. Bullington and Land concluded the regular season last week by going 5-2 in two competitions playing as the Broncos' No. 1 pair.

🔼 Staying Alive. Boise State men's tennis won its match against Air Force, defeating the Falcons 5-2 to keep their Mountain West title hopes alive. The win improved the Blue and Orange to 16-10 overall and 4-1 in MW action. The Broncos will close the regular season at New Mexico on Saturday, and a win would guarantee the Broncos at least a share of the MW regular season title.

🔼 Season’s End. Boise State women's golf finished the 2024 Mountain West Championship in seventh place, firing an 895 (+31) in the three-day tournament. Leia Chung paced the Broncos, carding a 4-over par tournament to tie for 18th while Teal Matsueda finished the the top 30, going 9-over par.

🗣️ “I am so proud of the entire group and what we accomplished this season. We are moving this program in the right direction and I am excited for the future." - Kailin Downs, head coach

🔼 Closing Time. Boise State women’s tennis will close out its regular season with a match against Utah State, in Logan. The Aggies enter the weekend 4-15 overall and are 1-8 in Mountain West play. The Broncos have won the past four matchups and lead the all-time series 36-4.
