🔷 ONE BIG THING
Boise State’s Sam Sippel, men’s tennis, was named the Mountain West tournament MVP after the Broncos secured its 18th conference title in program history. Sippel earned his 18th singles win of the season during the final match, and Sippel and Jan Lucca Marquardt won their second straight doubles match at the MW Championship and improved to 8-2 overall at the top position.
📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Regional Ready. Boise State men’s tennis, fresh off the 2024 Mountain West Tournament Championship, will face the 11th-ranked Arizona Wildcats in the NCAA Championship on Friday in Tucson for the second straight year. This is the second consecutive year that the Blue and Orange have advanced to the NCAA Championship, marking an impressive 20th appearance all-time.
🔼 Another One. Former Boise State soccer star Morgan Stone is running it back with Minnesota Aurora FC. Stone is entering her third season in the USL W League, an American women’s soccer league. Last season, Stone started 10 of 13 matches and finished with two goals.
🔼 Nothing New. Bronco softball’s standout freshman, Sophia Knight, continued to show why she is one of the best first-year student-athletes in the sport in the series win this weekend. Check out her thoughts after she robbed a potential three-run home run and why she credits her play to the practice she and her teammates put in during the week.
🤔 BLUE TURF TRIVIA
Solid As A Rock. Boise State soccer’s Morgan Stone amasses 10 goals, 11 assists and 6,409 minutes during her time with the Broncos, and she holds the record for most matches played by a member of the Blue and Orange.
Our question today: do you know how many matches she played at Boise State?
