🔷 ONE BIG THING

Representing Team USATF at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships, former Broncos Allie Ostrander and Ahmed Muhumed placed 30th and 36th in their respective races. Ostrander was the second American finisher in the race as her team finished in fourth while Muhumed finished third on the team.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 History Made. Sophomore Leia Chung earned Mountain West Golfer of the Week honors for the second time this season, becoming the first Bronco to earn multiple MW Golfer of the Week accolades in the same season. Chung finished as the runner-up at the Cowgirl Classic, matching her career-high and the second-best score in school history with a 210 (-6). Her opening round mark of 66 (-6) set a career-low, equaling the third-best round in school history.

🔼 Series Split. Boise State's newcomers, Sophia Knight, Leah McAnally and Karizma Bergesen, each collected two RBI in the Broncos’ 6-2 victory over San Diego State. The Broncos scored all of the runs in the fourth and fifth innings, and Taylor Caudill tossed a five-hitter to go the distance in the circle for the second-straight game.

🗣️ "Today was an example of what we can do at our best. We have a huge week at home with Washington and Fresno State coming to town and look forward to Bronco Nation coming out to support us." - Justin Shults, head coach

🔼 Fight To The Finish. After rallying back three times to tie the score, Boise State men’s tennis was unable to come away with the victory in the end. The Broncos dropped the doubles point, but secured three points in singles play thanks to Idriss Haddouch, Jan Lucca Marquardt and James Van Herzeele. Boise State will close out the home slate next week when the Broncos host UNLV and Nevada at the Appleton Tennis Center.

🔼 Home Again. Boise State beach volleyball returns home for its final duals of the season on Boise sand. The Broncos will take on Arizona and Saint Mary’s in the tri-dual on Wednesday.

🔼 In The Spotlight. Second-year graduate assistant, Hope Masiado, is working in the athletic personnel services (APS) department at Boise State Athletics while pursuing a degree in the Master of Athletic Leadership (MAL) program. The APS department is responsible for providing the necessary resources to Boise State staff members while also recruiting, hiring, growing and retaining staff and coaches throughout the department so it can enhance the student-athlete experience.
