🔷 ONE BIG THING

Six Boise State track and field athletes qualified for the 2024 DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships West Preliminary Rounds that will be held in Fayetteville, Ark., May 22-25. Hanna Ackermann and Emily Jobes both qualified in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase, while Austen Apperson qualified for the same event on the men's side. Tom Graham-Marr earned a spot in the men's 5,000-meter, plus Ines Borba and Brian Kiprotich also qualified for the women's and men's 10,000-meter, respectively.

The top 12 competitors from each event will advance. The list of qualifiers from each event will be announced by 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 26.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 The Brightest Broncos. Boise State student-athletes continued to set the standard for academic excellence during the 2023-24 school year, combining for the highest department cumulative GPA in department history with a 3.42 for the spring semester. Over half of Boise State's sports programs set new GPA records, cumulative or semester, during the school year. Women's golf (3.82), softball (3.57) and football (3.18) set all-time records for semester GPA.

🔼 Inked A Deal. Boise State women’s golf will have a new member joining the team for the 2024-25 season. Emily Cadwell, the Boise native and transfer from Washington State, will compete as a Bronco after spending three years in Pullman, Wash.

🔼 Beach Days. Boise State Beach Volleyball had team chemistry that you could see each time the team stepped onto the sand. Check out some of the brightest moments from this past season.
