Boise State track and field will make its way to Fresno, California this weekend to compete in the Mountain West Outdoor Championships. In the final meet of the regular season, the Broncos earned five gold medals in a split weekend, including Hanna Ackermann who finished first in the 3,000m steeplechase, and Janiah Brown who took the top podium spot in the 800m.

πŸ”Ό Postseason Action. The field is set for the Mountain West Championship as Boise State prepares to host the tournament May 9-11. The Broncos will enter the conference championship as the No. 5 seed and will face off against No. 4 seed Fresno State on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. The team finished the regular season with a 33-21 record overall, and head into the postseason riding a four-game win streak.

πŸ”Ό Stripe Show. Over the weekend, Boise State alum and inductee of the 2024 Boise State Athletics Hall of Fame, Troy Merritt, carded 18-under par at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson to finish inside the top ten. Merritt jumped up to No. 126 in the FedEx Cup Standings following his performance.
