In a game against Northern Michigan on September 23, 1978, legendary Boise State running back and All-American Cedric Minter rushed for 261 yards β€” the most rushing yards in a single game in Bronco football history. Through all the great backs who have come through Boise in the 46 years since, Minter’s mark of 261 yards stands to this day. Minter was inducted into the Boise State Hall of Fame in 1987.
