In a game against Northern Michigan on September 23, 1978, legendary Boise State running back and All-American Cedric Minter rushed for 261 yards — the most rushing yards in a single game in Bronco football history. Through all the great backs who have come through Boise in the 46 years since, Minter’s mark of 261 yards stands to this day. Minter was inducted into the Boise State Hall of Fame in 1987.

🔼 Head Held High. After qualifying for the finals in the 5,000m, former Boise State distance runner Ahmed Muhamed finished in eighth at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials with a time of 13:29.23.

🔼 Staying Home. Boise State women's basketball announced that Maggie Cornelius will join the coaching staff as a graduate assistant. Cornelius is no stranger to the program, having spent the past three seasons as a team manager. She graduated from Boise State in May with an education degree.
