Known for a high-scoring offense, the Broncos lived up to its reputation by putting up 450 total points during the 2023 season. The team averaged 32 points per game en route to its eight wins, including 40+ points in four matchups.

🔼From Player to Coach. Former Bronco gymnast Adriana Popp will return to the program as an assistant coach. In her position at Boise State, Popp will concentrate on recruiting new athletes while also utilizing this opportunity to coach across all events.

🔼Academic Success. Boise State student-athletes continue to set the standard in the classroom. The Broncos led the conference with an Academic Progress Rate of 991 and a 94% Graduation Success Rate. Feature stories include the following…

⚽️ Boise State soccer’s Jocelyn Stephenswas named one of the university’s Top Ten Scholars — one of the highest academic honors granted to Bronco undergraduate students.

🇺🇸 Three Boise State’s student-athletes, Tyson Degenhart (men’s basketball), Ahmed Hassanein (football), and Sam Sippel(men’s tennis) were honored by the College Sports Communicators with a trio of Academic All-American awards.

⛳️ Women’s golf led all Boise State athletic programs in team semester GPA with a 3.82 during the Spring 2024 semester.

🔼High Note. Speaking of academic success, Boise State gnast’ Courtney Blackson was selected to the CSC Academic All-America At-Large Third Team. Blackson was one of 50 individuals recognized, the only Mountain West athlete to make the at-large list and became the first Bronco gymnast in school history to earn the honor.

Boise State soccer will be the first athletic program to play in the 2024-25 academic calendar. The team will host their first match on August 16 against Portland State at the Boas Soccer Complex near campus.
