🔷 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF

59 days until kickoff, Bronco Nation!

Boise State’s sole international signee from the 2023 recruiting class will suit up as No. 59 for the Broncos this season. Lopez Sanusi, the second-best overall prospect from the NFL Academy, will join Boise State after spending time in Europe with the Belfast Trojans. In 2022, Sanusi shifted focus to the defensive line where he garnered two defensive MVP awards and was a part of the first European team to defeat an American squad.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Repping the Blue and Orange. The Mountain West has released attendees for the 2024 Mountain West Media Days, and head coach Spencer Danielson, kicker Jonah Dalmas and defensive lineman Ahmed Hassanein will be representing Boise State at the annual preseason event. The two-day media event will include one-on-one interviews with each head coach and two student-athletes from every MW institution. All student-athletes will participate in interviews on Wednesday, July 10, while the head coaches will speak on Thursday, July 11.

🔼 For Starters. Boise State men’s basketball will open the 2024 Cayman Islands Classic against Hampton on November 24 at 9 a.m. The Broncos are paired on the same side of the bracket as Duquesne and South Dakota State. The matchup will be the first meeting against Hampton in the all-time series.

🔼 Classroom Club Twirl. Five Boise State women's golfers were named to the 2023-24 WGCA All-American Scholar Team. Leia Chung, Macee Greenwood, Jillian Hui, Teal Matsueda and Franca Polla represented the Broncos on this season's list. To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur on the roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and have played in 50% or more of the school’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds.

🔼 New Coach on the Block. Boise State track & field and cross country announced the addition of Mark Badowsky as the team’s newest associate head coach to assist with jumps and multi-events. Badowsky returns to the Broncos after most recently serving as Western Colorado's head track & field coach.

🔼 New Runner on the Blocks. It’s official. Joshua Green will lace up the spikes for Boise State track and field for the 2024-25 season.
