5 days until kickoff, Bronco Nation!

From 2004-2006 as the starter, quarterback Jared Zabransky helped the Broncos win 33 games, including a perfect 12-0 season to cap off his collegiate career. No. 5 finished his time in Boise with the sixth-most passing yards (8,256) and the seventh-most touchdowns (58) in program history. In addition to becoming a cover athlete on the NCAA video game franchise, Zabransky helped the Broncos to the historic 43-42 victory over Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Another In The Win Column. Under the Friday night lights, Boise State soccer picked up its second win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Idaho State. The Broncos headed into halftime all tied up at one apiece, but a goal from Grace Sommers in the 68th minute and the second score of the match from Carly Cross in the 88th minute sealed the deal for a Blue and Orange win. Boise State established their fifth-straight win over the Bengals and now leads the all-time series, 12-8-2.

🔼 Returned To Sender. In the third of a four-part series previewing the Boise State volleyball team, today we feature the five middle blockers on the roster.

🏐 In her final season in the Blue and Orange, Annie Kaminski will serve as the starter. The 2023 All-Mountain West selection and All-MW Honorable Mention in 2022 has been a three-year starter at middle blocker and one of the anchors of the defense for a Boise State team ranked among the best defensive teams in the Mountain West.

🏐 Redshirt senior, Reagan Casey, joins Kaminski in the middle blocker position. She has seen limited action since transferring to Boise State in 2022. After redshirting her first season, she played in 13 matches last year, tallying 22 kills, four digs, and 10 blocks. Sophomore Layla Smith is the third Bronco with collegiate playing experience, where she saw action in five contests in 2023, recording six kills and five blocks.

🏐 Rounding out the position are freshman Eliza Sharp and redshirt freshman Kendall Hastings. Both Sharp and Hastings will look to see their first time on the court for the Broncos.

🔼 New Year, New Gear. A new season means new gear for the Boise State gymnastics team. Check out the fresh new looks the Bronco gymnasts will be rocking in the gym this year.

🔼 Pump It Up. Over the weekend, a college football legend stopped by The Blue to give a speech to the Broncos ahead of the 2024 season.

🔼 Making A Statement. During the last week of preseason in the NFL, former Boise State running back George Holani scored his second touchdown with the Seattle Seahawks.
