🔷 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF

24 days until kickoff, Bronco Nation!

In the first three years as a four-year program, throwing the ball against Boise State was not a smart option thanks to the play of Steve Forrey. The program’s all-time leader in interceptions with 24 played for the Broncos from 1968-1970 and holds the single-season interception record (12) to this day.

🔼 And Another One. Boise State All-American Ashton Jeanty was among the 87 candidates selected for a spot on the 2024 Doak Walker Award Preseason Watch List which honors the nation’s top running back. Jeanty’s third national watch list of 2024 comes after an impressive 2023 campaign where he finished seventh in the country in yards per game (112.3) and first in the Mountain West in total rushing yards (1,347) despite missing two full games.

🔼 New Faces. Jackie Robinson has joined the Boise State women's basketball staff as an assistant coach, head coach Gordy Presnell announced. Robinson, who spent the past five seasons as the head women's basketball coach at Evergreen State, will be the fourth assistant coach on staff, joining assistants Heather Sower, Cariann Ramirez and Mike Petrino.

🗣️ "It has always been a dream of mine to coach at Boise State in a program with such great tradition. I'm extremely thankful to Coach Presnell for the opportunity, and I'm looking forward to working with Coach Sower, Coach Ramirez and Coach Petrino as well as the players. I'm extremely pumped for the opportunity to be a part of the Bronco family." - Jackie Robinson

🔼 Beyond The Baseline. Episode three of Beyond The Baseline is out now! Check out some footage from Boise State women’s tennis as the crew follows freshmen Ella Piron and Skylar Moody.

🔼 Fast Forwards. In the first of a four-part series highlighting the full 2024 roster, Boise State women's soccer announces its returning and incoming roster for forwards.

⚽️ Senior Carly Cross will lead the team this season after registering the Broncos' best shot accuracy of the season in 2023 while MW All-Newcomer Cindy Conner returns after scoring three goals, the most among last year’s freshmen class. Senior Kenzie MacMillan was a key forward last season, scoring ten goals with seven assists. She will miss this fall season due to injury.

⚽️ Sophia Avalos, Olivia Collins, Asia Lawyer, Avery McBride, Marin Stamper and Hayden Wilsey played limited minutes last season and will also return as forwards for the Broncos this season.

⚽️ Transfers Aniah Cutler and Desiree Foster will suit up in Bronco gear for the first time, along with freshman Sophie Schmautz.

🔼 Experience of a Lifetime. In July 2024, Boise State volleyball’s Paige Bartsch traveled to Croatia as part of the Mountain West Global Challenge team to participate in the 2024 Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia. In this video, Paige reviews her experience in Europe and what it taught her leading into another season with the Blue and Orange.
