🔷 COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF

23 days until kickoff, Bronco Nation!

Donning the No. 23 for his senior season, Boise State safety Seyi Oladipo is hungry to capitalize on the momentum he gained last season. Oladipo recorded 70 tackles and 8.5 TFLs, earning him a spot as an All-MW Honorable Mention. Heading into this season, Oladipo was placed on the Paycom Jim Thorpe Preseason Watch List and is a Preseason All-Mountain West Second Team selection on three different outlets.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Something To Prove. The College Sports Communicators announced, in association with the Associated Press and the Fiesta Bowl Organization that Boise State wide receiver Latrell Caples earned a spot on the 2024 Comeback Player of the Year watch list. Caples missed the entire 2023 season due to injury but is poised to return to The Blue in 2024. The redshirt senior led the Broncos in receptions (51) and receiving yards (549) in 2022 and tied for the team-high with four touchdown catches. He collected 260 yards after the catch, also a team-best.

🔼 Triple Threat. Ahead of the Broncos’ first match of the season, Boise State soccer’s Carly Cross, Genevieve Crenshaw and Morgan Padour were named to the 2024 Mountain West Women's Soccer Watch List. The selections come after the team was picked to finish third in the league’s preseason poll.

🗣️ "They've earned it and will no doubt fulfill the preseason predictions. These three and their teammates are primed and ready to write their own story. I simply can't wait to see the work they've put in come to fruition." - Jim Thomas, head coach

Boise State will begin its season on Friday, August 16, against Portland State at the Boas Soccer Complex at 7 p.m.

🔼 Man of the Broncos. Jordan Feeney, the assistant athletic director for operations and capital projects, was featured in American Builders Quarterly.  In this piece, he details the dozens of projects he’s working on for our student-athletes, staff, and fans.

🔼 They Keep On Coming. Boise State star Ashton Jeanty was the nation's only running back named to the 2024 Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List, an honor presented annually to the nation's top receiver, regardless of position. The junior is one of three non-wide receivers on the 49-player watch list. Jeanty led all NCAA running backs last year in receiving yards (569) and yards after catch (621) while catching five touchdowns and recording a pair of 100-yard receiving games in 2023. He also led the position in missed tackles forced (24) and first downs (23) on receptions.

🔼 Moving On Up. A new season means a new title for the recently promoted Boise State men’s basketball assistant coach, Lexus Williams.

🔼 Last But Not Least. It’s about time for Boise State volleyball to take the court for the 2024 season. Wrap up the offseason by getting to know one of the team’s newest members, Eliza Sharp.
